IMPORTANT NOTICE - AI DISCLOSURE
PawSight uses artificial intelligence (AI). You are interacting with an automated software system, not a human.

1) About PawSight

PawSight is an experimental software application intended to help pet owners document symptoms, organize information, and review AI-generated assessments related to potential pet health concerns.

PawSight is authored and maintained by Zoltan Csontos and Katarina Nogradiova (“we,” “us,” “our”).

2) Scope & Applicability

These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of PawSight. Certain provisions may apply specifically to residents of California or other jurisdictions where required by law.

3) Explicit AI & Non-Human Disclosure

In compliance with applicable consumer protection and transparency requirements:

PawSight uses automated algorithms and machine-learning models.
PawSight is not a human and does not provide human judgment.
Outputs are generated automatically and may be incorrect or incomplete.
No human reviews outputs in real time unless explicitly stated.

4) Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PawSight, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

5) No Veterinary Advice - No Emergency Services

PawSight does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency response, or emergency dispatch services.

PawSight is not a veterinary medical device.
PawSight does not replace licensed veterinarians.
PawSight does not replace contacting an emergency veterinary clinic.

If your pet appears to be in distress, is unresponsive, has trouble breathing, is bleeding heavily, has ingested something toxic, or may require urgent care, contact a licensed veterinarian or emergency veterinary clinic immediately.

6) Experimental Nature & Accuracy Limitations

PawSight is provided on an experimental, informational, and non-clinical basis. The system may generate false positives, false negatives, delayed outputs, or outputs based on incomplete, low-quality, or incorrect data.

7) Assumption of Risk & Use at Your Own Risk

You expressly agree that use of PawSight is entirely at your own risk.

You assume full responsibility for:

any reliance on PawSight’s outputs,
any actions taken or not taken based on those outputs,
any delay in seeking veterinary care,
any communications sent to veterinarians or third parties,
any outcomes, injuries, losses, or damages.

8) Disclaimer of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all liability for any damages of any kind, including but not limited to:

injury, illness, or death of an animal,
failure to detect or correctly classify a health concern,
delayed or missed veterinary care,
false alerts or missed alerts,
data loss, system failure, or service interruption.

Under no circumstances shall the authors, contributors, or affiliates be liable, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9) No Warranties

PawSight is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10) User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for verifying all information.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any photos, videos, audio recordings, and other content you upload comply with applicable law and do not violate the rights of other persons.
You must comply with all applicable laws and platform policies.
You must not rely on PawSight for critical veterinary or medical decisions.
You must use sound judgment and seek professional veterinary care whenever symptoms are concerning, persistent, worsening, or urgent.

11) Data & Privacy

PawSight may process photos, videos, audio, symptom information, device identifiers, location data when enabled, and related analytics in order to provide app functionality. Please review the Privacy Statement for more information.

12) Third-Party Services

PawSight relies on third-party platforms and AI providers. We are not responsible for third-party availability, accuracy, outages, or data handling practices.

13) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Zoltan Csontos, Katarina Nogradiova, and all contributors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of PawSight.

14) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

15) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of PawSight constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
